Our name is our purpose. ETIOCA stands for Electric Transition Is Our Call to Action: moving city transport to clean, safe and fair mobility, and building a whole ecosystem around it.
Every generation was shaped by the crises of its childhood: wars, depressions, pandemics. ETIOCA is building the first mobility system in which every car, every working day, supports children. The generation that grows up with it should have more security than any before it.

The ETIOCA Productive Mobility Infrastructure Platform is an official nominee of the 2027 Edison Awards in the Transportation, Aerospace and Flight category. The Edison Awards have honoured innovation since 1987. Finalists will be announced on 11 February 2027.

A taxi designed from the ground up: a separate driver cabin behind a full partition, step-free access with a ramp, cameras, a server-monitored alcohol interlock and room for luggage, bikes and skis.
Booking, payment, in-ride services, on-board screens and the on-board shop run on ETIOCA's own software. Each trip goes to the nearest car, and the platform produces a stream of mobility data and insights in line with GDPR.
ETIOCA owns and runs its fleet. Drivers are employed, not gig workers, and each car is shared by three shifts for up to 20 hours a day. More than 100,000 driver jobs are planned from 2033.
ETIOCA Holding (Gibraltar) Limited leads the group. Intellectual property is licensed down a single chain, and each region is run by its own operating company and website.
Mark Ishakov begins to develop the idea: a taxi system in which the vehicle, the platform and the operator belong together.
With the business model and the vehicle concept complete, ETIOCA is registered in Gibraltar to build the prototype and turn the idea into reality.
The vehicle is modelled, engineered and hand-built as a functional prototype in Turin.
The first prototype is presented to partners and guests in Turin.

In his column “The Maestro's Aesthetics” in CAR GRAPHIC, one of Japan's leading car magazines, Giorgetto Giugiaro dedicated a whole instalment to the ETIOCA taxi, the project he and his son Fabrizio joined on the production side.
In the column, Giugiaro recalls the New York taxi project he joined in 1976 and asks why, half a century later, cities still lack transport built around what passengers actually need. He presents ETIOCA as the project that is finally closing that gap: an electric taxi with modular seating and step-free wheelchair access, screens that can carry public-service and city information, cabin disinfection after every ride, battery swapping, and its own fintech for transparent payments. What struck him most, he writes, was how broadly the founder understands the taxi: the technology, the vehicle and its production, the system around it, and its place among citizens, authorities and the city.
